Quest gives the students many opportunities to work on projects in innovative learning spaces. Because the classroom is often too small for several groups to collaborate on large activities, the students often must be flexible and move to other areas such as the hallways, stage, or library. Some of the projects the third and fourth grade students completed were the marble roller coaster physics challenge, testing the effects of wing warping using paper airplanes, and assembly line productions. Fifth and sixth grade students created Shakespeare's Globe Theater from cardboard. All of these lessons required the students to use problem solving, critical thinking skills, and math to find solutions. They also developed their oral and written skills. Below are some pictures that show them working.
